Albinea

A small and agreeable town, located at the edge of the foothills, in the middle between Reggio Emilia (9 km) and the Apennines.

Bagnolo in Piano

Thriving agricultural and industrial center, in the main square is a massive tower from the ancient fortress, called "Torrazzo" by people of Bagnolo.

Bibbiano

Situated in the foothills, where once flew the river Enza, it is one of the oldest production sites of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, therefore called "Cradle of Parmigiano Reggiano"

Boretto

In Roman times it was an important town on the Po river, and it maintained its relevance during the Republic of Venice. It still has marine and harbor.

Brescello

Cadelbosco di Sopra

An area of fertile plains wrested from the Po marshlands by centuries of human labour, today a lively and modern centre.

Campagnola Emilia

In the central square is the eighteenth-century parish church, outside the town is San Bernardino: a rural structure dating back to the era of Matilda.

Campegine

The territory in the central part of the river Po Valley, is here particularly rich in natural springs of water, protected by a Natural Park named "Valle Re"

Casalgrande

The town is located in the foothills of the Apennines of the Province of Reggio Emilia and is an important ceramics manufacturing centre.

Castellarano

It was part of the lands of Countess Matilda of Canossa, in its center are ancient buildings such as a small fortress, the hanging gardens, and the clock tower.

Castelnovo di Sotto

In the center is an ancient fortress, around which the Carnival floats and masks go; also important is the horse fair.

Cavriago

Cavriago is a dynamic, productive and modern town. Its position between Reggio Emilia and Sant’Ilario d’Enza, makes it a strategical town for transportation.

Correggio

It is one of the largest and populous town in the Province after the chief town (18 Km from Reggio Emilia).

Fabbrico

It is located in the heart of the plain, an area of intensive farming with the strong agro-mechanical tradition, represented by the former Landini factory.

Gattatico

In the country house where the 7 Cervi brothers were arrested in November 1943, to be shot by the Nazis, is the Cervi House Museum

Gualtieri

As other small towns south of the Po River, it sprang up during the age of seignories. It still has imposing land drainage and huge buildings by Bentivoglio family.

Guastalla

Guastalla is a town of Etruscan origin. It is one of the most typical towns in the "lowlands of Reggio Emilia" along the Po River.

Luzzara

Vezzano sul Crostolo

The Town of Vezzano sul Crostolo is situated in the hills of Reggio Emilia, near the spot where Crostolo River flows onto the plains. The town lies along National Road 63, 14 km from Reggio Emilia.
