June 19, 2021

Respecting the tradition of the route from Brescia to Rome and back - with stage arrivals in Viareggio and Bologna - the 2021 edition, from 16 to 19 June, will present an absolute novelty for the commemorative 1000 Miglia: for the first time, the sense of race gear will be reversed compared to recent editions, taking up the counter-clockwise direction of many editions of the original speed race.

Respecting the tradition of the route from Brescia to Rome and back - with stage arrivals in Viareggio and Bologna - the 2021 edition, June 16-19, will present an absolute news for the commemorative 1000 Miles: for the first time, the sense of race gear will be reversed compared to recent editions, taking up the counter-clockwise direction of many editions of the original speed race.

From Brescia, the crews will head to the Tyrrhenian coast to stop in Viareggio, leaving on the following day to Rome. The third stage, starting from the capital, will go up north to finish beyond the Apennines, in the Emilian capital. The fourth and last stage will lead from Bologna up to the traditional finish in Brescia. A peculiarity that will satisfy many fans is an unprecedented track that will lead the crews to tackle for the first time both the Cisa Pass, in the first stage, and the Futa and Raticosa Passes on the third day of race.
