The location of protected areas and ecological rebalancing areas, as well as the presence of water and vegetation, make it easier the stop, the rest and the nidification of herons, kingfishes, ospreys, ducks, wild ducks, bald-coots, sparrowhawks, barn owls, little owls, owls.

Spring and autumn are the best season for birdwatching in the Marmirolo Oasis, in the the Secchia River Floodplain and in the Bianello Oasis. It is easy to find good accommodation, remarkable restaurants and historic villages that are worth visiting.
