The Loris Malaguzzi International Centre offers visitors a number of options: free individual visit of the exhibitions and spaces, guided tours in small groups, educational tours for high-school and university students.

Visit the Centre

Individual visitors
The exhibitions are open to visitors daily, Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m., the entrance is free.
Reggio Children personnel is available to provide information at the reception desk.
In order to arrange a visit to the International Centre, please send an email to info@reggiochildren.it.

Dialogued tour of the CentreDialogued tour of the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre for the first contact with the Reggio Emilia Approach®. 
Teachers, educators, students and curious people will be guided through the various workshops of the Centre - light, digital, graphics, paper, clay - with the different languages and the opportunity to visit the exhibitions, born from research projects made with the nursery schools and the primary schools of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.
Day: Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00

One day at the Centre
Mondays
and Wednesdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m., first educational opportunity for teachers, educators. professionals, pedagogists, students and curious people, in order to know the Reggio Emilia Approach®.

Children and families
One Sunday a month from September to May, the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre is open to children and families, teachers, educators, students and curious people with several opportunities among guided tours, workshops, explorations, tales, game and fun.

At the Centre you will find

  • Exhibitions and projects, which describes the history of the infant-toddler centres and pre-schools of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, using different languages such as photography, paper and digital projections. It is possible to visit the exhibitions independently without paying a ticket;
  • The bookshop, to browse and buy our publications in Italian and foreign languages​​;
  • Pause-Atelier dei sapori Restaurant, open from 01:00 to 03:00 p.m.
  • The Documentation and Educational Research Centre, opened to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 03:30 to 06:00 p.m. and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.
