Guastalla, the seven-pointed town

According to the "Topographic dictionary of the duchies of Parma Piacenza Guastalla", the town of Guastalla is remarkable for its symmetry. In fact, it is enclosed by walls forming seven points.

The historical data are got from the two topographic maps, dating back to 1843, that Alberto Cenci, founder of the publishing house Antiche Porte, found in the archives of Reggio Emilia Prefecture.
