Brescello
Brescello is located alongside the main leeve of Po River; it is the town of "Don Camillo and Peppone", and capital of the "little world" described by writer Giovanni Guareschi.
"Peppone and Don Camillo" Museum
Collection of relics from the film series "Don Camillo and Peppone".
"Albino Umiltà" Archaeological Museum
On the ground floor are the halls dedicated to the Necropolis and the Domus; on the upper floor is the section dedicated to the territory.
"Brescello and Guareschi, the territory and the cinema" Museum
Display of old cinema equipment and agricultural objects of the fifties in an open space on the groundfloor, as well as in other exhibition rooms.
San Benedetto Monastery
No longer used as a convent, the complex has been renovated and is now a multipurpose facility
Santa Maria Maggiore and San Genesio Parish Church
The parish church, dedicated to the nativity of St. Mary, was erected in 1837 according to a design by Luigi Groppi.
Piazza Matteotti
In the centre of the town of Brescello is the fine square of Piazza Matteotti with the statue of Ercole Benefattore (Ercole the Benefactor), dedicated to Ercole I of the Este family, sculpted by Jacopo Sansovino.
Brescello: Don Camillo and Peppone's town
The Country Foundation of Don Camillo and Peppone promotes the locations of films inspired by the stories of Giovannino Guareschi and proposes a series of visits to the places of the film sets.

These are the first words of one of the movie of "Peppone e Don Camillo" series, shot in Brescello. The visit to the town let you discover the museums dedicated to the two famous characters, the places of the movie, the history of the territory and the great river Po.
