Historical notes
The Municipal Theatre stands in the central Garibaldi Square. It was designed in 1919 by the Engineer Aldo Govoni and was inaugurated in 1924. The façade has a simple and classical aspect and it is topped by a decorated timpanum with bass-reliefs in Liberty style. The general style of the building and the decoration (without painted sides), is of simple but lovely late-Liberty style.
